It's been a while

Tue Oct 28, 2008, 9:49 AM
I haven't been very chatty; my last entry was in June. For shame!

It's been a weird year. I've been drawing though, so that's a good thing. Writing? Not so much. No time really. I can churn out an 'office special' in twenty minutes, but I can't find the muse to write at this time. Don't know why.

Anyway... Same sh*t different day, as they say.

I loooove your bonnets! Where do you get the bases for them (or do you make them from scratch)?
The bases are $3 craft-store sun-hats. In the case of the soft-backed ones, they're just cut to the desired shape, the stovepipe I use the same hats, unraveled. I'm in the process of creating a pattern so I can have buckram frames made for them.
